The Barbados Association of Texas Scholarship Program is part of BAT's mission to promote education for post-high school students and was first introduced in 1993. The program is open to any Texas resident enrolled in any post-high school education program (incoming freshmen are not eligible for an award), with priority given to those who have Barbadian heritage or are active in our organization.
Under the BAT Scholarship Program, students will be recognized for their academic and personal achievements as well as their commitment to community. Recipients will be honored at the Annual Independence Day and Scholarship & Awards Gala.
